Was zur Hölle?

Fahrraddiebstähle sind der häufigste Kündigungsgrund bei Hausrat. Die Versicherung sieht: zwei Schäden in zwei Jahren = Risiko steigt. Egal, ob du davor zehn Jahre schadenfrei warst.

Das Problem ist nicht der Schadenwert (1.900 € gesamt). Sondern die Frequenz.

Und dann die böse Frage bei der neuen Versicherung: “Wurde Ihnen in den letzten 5 Jahren von einem Versicherer gekündigt?” — und wenn du “Ja” sagst, bist du raus.

Ein Versicherungs-Profi hat einen interessanten Tipp gegeben:

“Ruf am Montag bei deiner alten Versicherung an und frag, ob du die Kündigung umdeuten lassen kannst. Du schickst denen eine Kündigung zu dem bereits bestehenden Datum, die bestätigen dir diese, und du hast die böse Frage nicht mehr.”

Klingt shady? Ist aber Standard-Praxis. Er sagt, er macht das 2-3 Mal im Monat. Du kannst also durchaus versuchen, das bei deiner Versicherung anzufragen.

Warum funktioniert das? Die Frage in neuen Anträgen ist: “Wurde Ihnen gekündigt?” – nicht “Haben Sie jemals einen Schaden gehabt.” Wenn du die Kündigung in eine Eigenkündigung umdeuten lässt, lautet die Antwort einfach “Nein”.

Ein anderer Kommentator (arbeitet in der Schadenbearbeitung) ergänzte: Es kann helfen, es direkt beim Versicherer zu probieren – die haben oft andere Formulare und fragen anders als die Standard-Masken.

Was ich daraus mitnehme:

• Hausrat + Fahrrad ist riskant. Fahrräder sind diebstahlgefährdet und die Versicherung merkt das schnell.
• Wer nur eine einzige Police bei einem Anbieter hat, ist anfälliger für Kündigungen. Mehrere Verträge bei einer Gesellschaft schützen besser.
• Eine separate Fahrradversicherung könnte Sinn machen, damit die Hausrat nicht leidet.

Was mich als Ingenieur begeistert

2,8B Parameter, aber nur ein Teil wird pro Anfrage aktiviert. Das ist clever. Rohle-Skalierung ist eine Sackgasse — Bandbreite und Strom gewinnen am Ende immer. Moonshot hat das verstanden.

Was ich noch nicht kaufe

“Zweitbeste nach den Top-Proprietary-Modellen” ist Moonshots eigener Benchmark, nicht unabhängig. Ausführlichkeit-Probleme und Aufgaben-Fehler tauchen schon in der echten Nutzung auf. Ich kenne diesen Film — großer Launch, große Behauptungen, leise Korrektur drei Wochen später.

Meine Prognose

Dieses Modell wird richtig gut sein für agentisches Coden und lange Kontexte — und für alles andere ziemlich überhypt. Die Veröffentlichung der Gewichte am 27. Juli ist der echte Test. Bis dahin ist es Marketing mit sehr gutem Engineering drunter.

Was das für lokale Inferenz bedeutet

Für alle, die lokal laufen lassen — wie ich auf meinem Mac mini — ist das bei 2,8B Parametern noch außer Reichweite. Aber es bestätigt die Richtung: sparse MoE, effiziente Attention, offene Gewichte. Das ist das Playbook, das kleinere Labs in den nächsten zwei Jahren kopieren werden.

Einen Blick wert. Aber noch nicht den Stack umstellen.

Natrium-Ionen-Batterien — klingt nach Zukunftsmusik, ist aber schon da. UNIGRID aus den USA hat zwei Produktlinien auf dem Markt: eine fürs Auto und eine fürs Haus.

Was ist Natrium-Ionen überhaupt?

Das Natrium in diesen Batterien ist das gleiche Element wie in Kochsalz — nur in anderen chemischen Verbindungen. Also nicht essbar. Aber der Vorteil ist riesig: Natrium ist extrem verfügbar — aus Steinsalz und Meerwasser. Kein seltenes Lithium, das du aufwändig abbauen musst. Das macht Natrium-Ionen zu einer günstigen und sicheren Alternative zu Lithium-Ionen. Keine Brandgefahr, kein Thermal Runaway.

Zwei Produktlinien von UNIGRID

• 12V Starter Battery — Ersatz für die klassische Autobatterie. 4Ah bis 75Ah, >30.000 Zyklen, von -40°C bis 60°C. Kein BMS nötig, keine Wartung. Einmal einbauen, nie wieder drüber nachdenken.
• 48V Residential ESS — 9,25 kWh Hausspeicher. Voll passiv gekühlt (kein Lüfter, keine Pumpe). Kein Feuerrisiko. Perfekt für Solaranlagen.

Vergleich mit der Tesla Powerwall

• Preis: Natrium ist ein günstiger Rohstoff. Daher dürften Natrium-Ionen-Batterien deutlich günstiger sein als die Tesla Powerwall, die in Deutschland rund ~7.000–8.000 € (13,5 kWh) kostet.
• Zyklen: Natrium-Ionen-Batterien erreichen über 30.000 Ladezyklen, während die Powerwall — je nach Entladetiefe — auf etwa 5.000–10.000 Ladezyklen kommt (Schätzwert, kein offizieller Tesla-Wert). Das entspricht einer 3- bis 6-mal längeren Lebensdauer.
• Temperatur: Natrium-Ionen-Batterien arbeiten zuverlässig bei −40 °C bis 60 °C, die Powerwall dagegen bei 0 °C bis 50 °C. Auch im Winter in einer ungeheizten Garage ist das für Natrium-Ionen-Batterien kein Problem.

Warum das für mich interessant ist

Ich baue gerade ein Haus mit Fußbodenheizung und Wärmepumpe. Eine 12 kWp Solaranlage ist geplant. Ein Natrium-Ionen-Speicher in der Garage würde die deutschen Winter problemlos überstehen — und 30.000 Zyklen bedeuten Jahrzehnte Nutzung.

Außerdem habe ich ein Tesla Model 3 bestellt (kommt November 2026). Ein günstiger Hausspeicher könnte die Ladekosten fürs Auto massiv drücken — Solarstrom vom Dach direkt ins Auto, ohne Umweg über teuren Netzstrom.

Die Einschränkungen

• Noch nicht richtig verfügbar in Deutschland
• Die Preise sind noch nicht transparent
• Die Technologie ist jung — echte Langzeiterfahrung fehlt noch

Trotzdem: Natrium-Ionen wird kommen. Die Frage ist nur wann.
